InnerSpace Mobile Aisle

High Density Storage Systems

Mobile aisle systems, also known as movable shelving systems, are impressive. They are also a terrific and cost effective way to store a lot of material in a very small space.

richards-wilcox mobile aisle High quality mobile aisle systems are designed to perform reliably and look good doing it. storax pallet mobile aisle Industrial strength pallet mobile aisle systems offer the most accessible configuration of any high-density system. Any pallet in your warehouse is is accessible at the opening of the aisle. Only static racks, requiring twice the space offer the same access ability.

flow rack with illustration High-density storage maximizes capacity by removing aisles. Flow rack, shown here, provides "First In - First Out" (FIFO) stock rotation. Other options include "Push Back", "Drive Through", "Carton Flow", "Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems" (ASRS),as well as others. "Pick to Light" systems are often incorporated into carton flow solutions that can be then tied to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Automated storage and retreival systems (ASRS) speed fulfillment, enhance order tracking, and control shrinkage.

When selecting a high density storage system consideration must be given to:

  • Capacity: what is the heaviest load per bay?
  • How often are the aisles accessed and who accesses them?
  • Rails can be recessed into the floor, under a subfloor, or exposed with ramps.
  • What kind of engineering will you need? Is it a seismic zone?
  • Accessories like: finished panels and/or quality shelving.
  • Preserve your assets by comparing manufacturer warrantees.
  • InnerSpace can help you with these choices.
  • Lease options are also available.
